‘JAYANTHI’ was started by Kavi Samrat Vishwanatha Sathyanarayana in 1927 and was very well run by him and his dear disciple Juvvadi Gautama Rao. It has been kept in abeyance for sometime and was revived by “Vishwanatha Sahitya Peetham” of Sister Nivedita Foundation, Hyderabad in 2003 with J. Gautama Rao as its Chef Editor and Dr. V. Kondal Rao as the Editor with distinguished men of Letters and eminent journalists associating as members of the editorial board.

The quarterly journal is being published with English & Telugu Sections to uphold high literary, cultural and educational values. It has already published 6 issues including 4 special issues on Vishwanatha, P.V. Narsimha Rao, Poet Ismail and Noble Laureate Pablo Neruda. The latest issue of E-Jayanthi contains valuable articles on Communication Skills and Translations including write ups on Vishwanatha and Adoor Gopalakrishnan.

‘JAYANTHI’ invites articles in English and Telugu from writers all over the country and abroad and also valuable suggestions from its readers including students and researchers.
